This stunning beaker is inspired by the ceramic beakers and fragments from the Early Bronze Age, a homage to the Beaker People of Europe.
This piece is hand-raised and chased as a nod to the ancestors of this land - blending ancient inspiration with contemporary silversmithing. It carries the quiet rhythm of old tools and older stories - a gesture of respect to the ancestors of this land…their hands, their craft, their earth.
Handcrafted in Britannia silver, the vessel is formed from flat sheet using traditional hammering techniques that have been practiced for millennia. Once the shape is complete, it is filled with pitch and the surface is chased in deep relief using steel punches, creating a rich, tactile texture that catches the light.
Each vessel s is individually handmade in Cornwall, meaning no two are ever the same — subtle variations are part of their unique character and charm.
