A stunning 18ct and diamond ring with a ‘Birch Bark’ texture band.

This beautiful diamond ring is inspired by my pilgrimage to the Värikallio Rock Paintings in Hossa National Park in Finland. The stunning salt and pepper diamond has fabulous red and grey hues, like the ochre of the rock paintings, and is set in 18ct gold with my ‘birch wood’ texture echoing the pine and birch forest of the landscape in Finland. 🌲

Visiting this sacred landscape was unforgettable — I’m still carrying the magic of that trip.

The Värikallio Rock Paintings are the largest prehistoric rock paintings in Finland, located on a cliff face rising from Lake Somerjärvi. These 3,500–4,500-year-old red ochre paintings, featuring figures of animals and humans, were likely used for hunting magic, shamanic rituals, or marking ancient routes.

This ring would make a fabulous dress ring for any occasion, or an ideal engagement ring.
