Lughnasadh 2026 - The Danesfeild Challenge Cup

Dear Friends,

As the year turns to Lughnasadh, the first harvest festival, this is a time to gather the fruit from the seeds we planted earlier in the year - which seems particularly appropriate as I can finally share my news. 

I am so excited to reveal my work of the past six months!  The Danesfield Challenge Cup for Henley Royal Regatta for a new club  event - Women's Quadruple Sculls. 

The trophy title from Henley Royal Regatta led me to follow the River Thames and to discover the ancient landscape of Danesfield, where traces of Mesolithic settlement and an Iron Age hill fort revealed stories spanning millennia. Those discoveries became the inspiration for a commission that brings together archaeology, silversmithing and the celebration of women's rowing at Henley Royal Regatta. READ FULL NEWSLETTER HERE
