Teaching

Abigail is an experienced tutor having taught at levels from beginner and hobbyist, through to degree students and professionals wishing to extend their skills.  She began her teaching experience at Edinburgh College of Art under Professor Dorothy Hogg and went on to become an Associate Lecture for Contemporary Craft at Falmouth University.  She teaches adult education at West Dean College and runs private classes from her studio in Cornwall, or for organisations and colleges.

One to one tuition

Abigail also offers one to one tuition in both jewellery and silverware making in her studio to beginners and established practitioners. This can be a short taster or a regular programme tailored to the individual’s requirements. Tools and some materials are provided and Abigail can discuss individual projects and tailor courses to suit what you hope to achieve.  Contact Abigail for individual or group rates.

Talks and demonstrations

Abigail is available for practical demonstrations of silversmithing techniques and for lectures about her work and life as a contemporary silversmith.
